Common questions
Nothing is being hidden
Check that Jevoid is switched on in the popup and that the site is not paused. Known ads work without a key. For borderline cases add a Jev key. A free one comes from console.typesafe.ai/keys.
The key test says invalid or fails
Paste the key again without spaces and press Test in the popup. Jevoid pauses Jev calls for a few minutes after an invalid key, so wait a moment and test again. If the Jev service is down, Jevoid leaves pages untouched.
A page looks wrong or something was hidden by mistake
Open the popup and choose Pause here to switch Jevoid off for that site, or Review hidden and press Not an ad on the item. Jevoid remembers your choice for that site.
Article mode replaced a page I wanted as it was
Press Show original page, or Always show original here to stop article mode on that site. You can also turn article mode off in the popup.
A site was blocked by mistake
On the block page choose Continue for 15 minutes or Always allow this site. To undo an always-allowed site, use Clear allowed sites in the popup under Block pages by type.
I forgot my PIN
Use your recovery code under Forgot PIN. If you no longer have it, start the waiting reset there. The PIN is removed after the wait you chose when you set it up, 24 hours by default, and you can cancel the reset at any time.
How do I pin Jevoid to the toolbar?
Click the puzzle-piece icon at the top right of Chrome, then the pin next to Jevoid.
How do I uninstall it?
Right-click the Jevoid icon and choose Remove from Chrome. That also deletes everything Jevoid stored.
